I picked up stained glass art as a hobby back in 2021 when the world shut down. Needing to keep my hands (and mind) busy, I taught myself how to cut, grind, foil, and solder glass together.

After a few years of apartment hopping, I was finally able to settle down and pull my stained glass supplies out of their boxes again. Luckily, getting back into stained glass was just like riding a bike, and I quickly became obsessed with creating glass art again.

In the summer of 2026, I launched my brand (Deschutes Glass Lab) and started selling my artwork at local markets in Central Oregon as well as doing custom work.

While I’m excited to see where this journey takes me (maybe a storefront someday??), I’m incredibly grateful to have made it this far and to have the opportunities to bring glappiness (glass happiness, duhh) into people’s lives.
